1. How can I get the free bottle of wine?
For purchase order of $1,000 or more, you can get one Full Bottle of white wine.
Free gifts are available while stock last. (out of stock)
 

2. How can I collect my free gift for label contribution ?
We can deliver to you if you make a purchase order or you can choose to collect it at outlets of Castle Fine Wines (Kornhill Plaza or North Point). Alternatively, we can send it to your registered address. We would send you a confirmation by email upon receiving your label and you can advise us your choice of collection by then. Free gifts are available while stock last.

3. How the different designations help me in selecting wine?
We have specially categoirsed our wines into different designations to help you in identifying wines that meet your needs. Details are as follows:
 

Best Buy Special - Current special bargains that you should watch out
New Arrivals- Items that are just released
Most popular- Items most welcomed by members. Can be shorcut to getting good value items
Wine8 Choice - Our special recommendations. Can serve as good indicator of good value items
Half Bottle - Bottle Size is only half of regular bottle. Best for small party and light drinker
Banquet Choice - Special recommendation for banquet and party
 

4. How to best use Wine Search function?


Types- General categorization of wines. Easy to start here.
Vintage - Choose your preferred vintage which will affect quality especially for French wine Countries/Region - Good indication of style if you are familiar with them or if you have favourites
Winery Name - Enter key words to search specific item. Consecutive words have to be exact. The best way is to key in single word if you are not sure
Price range - Good way to find items that match your budgets
Expert Score - Good benchmark of quality and reference. Match it with price and find yourself some good value surperb items
Category of taste - Best indicator to match your preference. Wines are divided into 8 general categories Choose the one closest to your choice then review individual wine tasting notes to find your preferred choice.
Size - Choose volume that best meet your consumption needs:
- 375ml (half bottle size)
- 750ml (normal full bottle size)
- 1500ml (2 full bottle size)
Designation - Good indicator to match your needs . See details in Question 1

 

By choosing combinations of the above search parameters, you can find items that best matched your preference.

5. How can I buy items by using the shopping cart?
It's very easy! Just select your favourite items and click the icon of little shopping cart and they will be added to your list of purchase.
If you want to remove a selected item from your shopping cart, just remove tick from purchase box and click UPDATE Remember, if you have made any changes in quantity or remove any item, click the UPDATE button to confirm

6. How can I make payment ?
You can choose to make payment by cash or cheque on delivery or pay credit card in advance.
For cheque payment the maximum limit is $1000 per order. Cheque should be payable to "Castle Fine Wines"
For order over $5,000, we reserve the right to verify your credit card upon or prior to delivery.

7. Can I enjoy any discount if I buy more?
You can enjoy the following discount:
6 items or more : Less 5%
12 items or more : Less 10%
24 items or more : Less 15%
The above discounts are NOT applicable to Packages or Best Buy Special but their quantity do count into your total items purchased to get maximum benefits
For example, if you buy a wine package of 2 bottles and 4 bottles of non-package wine, the latter 4 bottles can then get 5% discount
 

Look for special packages and Best Buy Special in which you can find bargain price offers
 

8. How can I know whether my order has been received?
We would send you an acknowledge email and call you within 24 hours to confirm all the delivery and payment details. You can also check the order via "View my Order" in the "My Account" function to see if the record is there.
 

9. How can I get my purchase record?
All your order records will be saved under your account. You can check it by accessing "My Account" function anytime you want. More importantly, you can keep a good record by adding your own comments to every wine and package purchased
 

10. Can I return my goods if I am not satisfy with them?

Please refer to details of the following Return and Exchange Policy:

From time to time, the merchandize(s) that is purchased directly from Wine8.com may be returned or exchanged within 7 days from the date of invoice if you find items unsatisfied subject to the following conditions:
- Items returned should remain unopened or unused except if they are suspected to be corked.
- Defective items that are damaged by abuses or careless handling are excluded
- Original invoice or delivery note is produced
- In case of exchange, the same items will be exchanged. If the original item is out of stock, customer can have a refund or exchange for other Items of equal amount.
- In case of refund, cheque will be issued with the amount deducting any costs incurred.

11. How can I enjoy free delivery service ?
Free Delivery Service is available to
a. Hong Kong Island : For minimum order of 6 bottles or more
b. Kowloon and New Territories: For minimum order of 12 bottles or more.

For order of items below the above minimum, the following charges will be applied:
Hong Kong Island - $50
Kowloon and New Territories - $80

For delivery to outlying islands or airport, additional surcharge may be required and we would advise you in advance. Delivery service will not be available on Sunday and Public Holidays
Please allow 2 to 3 working days for delivery arrangement. We would try our very best to meet your preferred time.

 

All overseas delivery will be subject to separate charges and will be quoted to customers for confirmation
 

12. What if I want to change delivery details?
You can call 2904 8877 or send email to sales@wine8.com at least one working day before the delviery. We would call you to confirm details.

14. How can I change my personal information?
