How to store leftover wine?
- The first simple way is just put the cork back in the bottle and put the bottle into the refrigerator. But there are three other efficient ways that will keep your remaining wine from oxidizing:
1. Vacuum Method
A very easy-to-use pump called Vac-U-Vin, is commonly used by many wine drinkers. This pump removes oxygen from the bottle, and the rubber stoppers that come with it keep more oxygen from entering the bottle. It should keep your wine fresh for up to a week.

2A. Insert Gas Method
Wine lovers everywhere will tell you that once you open a bottle of wine, you would have to drink it all up, before it loses its quality. They can all now rejoice - ReServe is endorsed by leading wine experts as the new state-of-the-art way to maintain the integrity of opened bottles of wine.

ReServe Wine Preservation System
ReServe is so easy to use
Simply inserting a ReServe Adaptor for each bottle*, the airtight seal prevents fresh oxygen from entering. After the Pure Argon (inert gas) is injected, oxygen is released and the oxidation rate in the bottle is dramatically reduced. The result is that the wine will continue to taste delicious for over a week.

*The Adaptor is designed to fit a standard bottle opening of 18.5mm diameter. - Updated on July 27, 2005

2B. Insert Gas Method
You can buy cans of insert gas and just squirt a few shots of the gas into the bottle through a straw . The gas will act as a layer between the wine and oxygen in the bottle, and thus protecting the wine from oxidizing.

3. Most Natural Method
A glassware called Wine-for-Later Set is also available in the market. This glassware set comes with 1 funnel and 2 glass bottles with airtight stoppers. Just fill up the glass bottle with your leftover wine & recork it with the airtight stopper. Since the glass bottle is 100% full with no contact with oxygen, it prevents the wine from oxydizing..

Storing Champagne/Sparkling wine

You can simply use a Sparkling wine stopper which fits over the opened bottle. This special stopper will not be easily pushed out by the high pressure generated by the gas inside the bottle. Wine can then be kept fresh in the refrigerator.
